2-Ingredient Easy Nut-Free Tigernut Milk Recipe! Organic Gemini Tigernuts are sweet without the sugar, creamy and milky all from a plant-based tuber root vegetable. Paleo, Whole 30, and AIP compliant this plant milk takes the cake! And so easy to make!
In a high-speed blender blast on high the tiger nuts and spring water until it turns into a milk. This usually goes for about 2 minutes.
Using a large bowl with a nut-milk bag, place the nut-milk bag over the large bowl and pour milk into the nut-milk bag and squeeze/drain the milk into the bowl. Squeeze the nut bag, making sure to get as much milk out as possible and then discard the pulp left in the bag.
After you strain the milk add the optional pinch of lemon juice.
Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
Notes
If you are using a smaller blender or not a high-speed blender you'll want to cut this recipe in half and make two smaller batches.
When you strain the milk you will need a nut-milk bag to strain the milk from the pulp. Get this Nut-Milk Bag for making homemade milk.
