Luscious, thick, and creamy. Dairy-free and Paleo. This Strawberry Cantaloupe Smoothie is out of this world and sweet without the added sugar! Cantaloupe makes a wonderful creamy base while tasting super sweet. Mixed with tangy strawberries and plant-based milk makes this smoothie uber creamy and so tasty.

It's easy to overlook the beautiful cantaloupe and disregard her as a viable smoothie base option.
I forgive you. It's okay.
Totally normal.
She's often overlooked.
When you are gluten-free and have food sensitivities on top of it all, and cannot have banana or pineapple or a ton of sugar you dream up creative and innovative ways to make it work.
Enter Cantaloupe.
Ripe, super ripe cantaloupe, and NOT unripe cantaloupe which is what is usually served.
If you make sure it's super ripe you'll be surprised just how sweet the cantaloupe actually is while providing a super creamy base.
It has become one of my favorite fruits to use in a smoothie. A secret gem I am now sharing.
A Summer breakfast favorite according to my family, so you know it's legit.
Did you know that Cantaloupe contains Potassium, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C? Plus a healthy glow?
This smoothie also uses collagen which I love because of the benefits!! So healing for your hair, skin, and nails. Collagen adds back your face plump back, reduces scarring, adds that glow, and helps you heal and helps your hair grow.
Plus it adds a creamy factor! And that is everything when it comes to a smoothie.
It's tasteless, so you won't taste it in your smoothie. Another win!
Vital Proteins collagen is my favorite brand to use for collagen and I prefer the turquoise tube which is unflavored. It's gluten-free and safe for humans with Celiac Disease. But make sure you are getting the unsweetened one if you want to keep sugar at bay.
Makes two servings, but you can have both, that's what I do.

Never tried adding cantaloupe and sunflower seed butter, and this sounds so creamy delicious!
Julie Rosenthal says
Feel free and replace it with almond butter but if you cannot have nuts or want to try another "nut/seed" butter this one is so legit! Cantaloupe replaces banana and it does it SO WELL. Enjoy experimenting! xx
