These healthy gluten-free superfood jam toasts are slathered with creamy sunflower seed butter, nutrient-dense seeds, and oozy raspberry. It always hit the spot, and this toast is gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and hearty. Best snack ever!
To me, these gluten-free superfood jam toasts are just like old-fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I've been gluten-free since 2006 and for a long time, I only liked these toasts. Alone, this toast is pretty boring like a rice cake but it's what you put on that rice cake that makes it taste so good. And the same goes for these crispy toasts! Imagination is everything here. Plus, they look super pretty when you design them, and when you have guests over your guests will think you went all out! I speak from personal experience.
There are a few things you need to know about these gluten-free jam toasts. First of all these toasts are my favorite! Savory, crunchy, and fun to eat too. Easy to make, can be whipped up in 5 minutes and is so versatile.
And I love that the brand I like {Le Pain Des Fleurs} uses minimal ingredients and that the ingredients are not only organic but certified organic by ECOCERT France and made in a dedicated gluten-free facility. You know how happy that makes a Celiac.
The number one perk of these gluten-free crispy toasts is that I don't feel deprived when I have these toasts to eat. I tend to make these toasts when I can't think of what I want to eat and don't feel like meal planning. These toasts work for all kinds of diets, and because of that, I have created so many other variations!
VARIATIONS OF CRISPY TOASTS
- Avocado toast
- Chicken salad toast
- Hemp seed, garlic, and light olive oil toast
- Coconut butter n chocolate toasts
- White bean puree garlic toasts
- Hummus
Toppings on toast feel like sprinkles. And the sky is the limit with the "sprinkles". I used superfoods like chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds, pomegranate seeds, poppy seeds, and watermelon seeds for "my sprinkles".
These sprinkles are superfoods, and superfoods pack a punch in nutrients by only using a small amount so they are great for crispy toasts. If you don't want to use seeds, you can use shaved nuts of all kinds.
How To Assemble This Toast
A Sunbutter crispy toast would HAVE something tart or sweet to go with it so I paired melted raspberries and a little water and it created syrup. That syrup became my jam.
Le Pain De Fleurs is the crispy toast king! While Le Pain Des Fleurs has a variety of crispy toast options, my favorite is the Buckwheat toast made with two ingredients: Buckwheat & salt. The second favorite is the Quinoa crispy toast, followed by the ones mixed with Millet.

GLUTEN-FREE CRISPY TOAST TIPS
- My favorite brand for watermelon seeds is Go Raw. They heat their seeds at a very low temperature so that the nutrients stay intact as much as they can. And what does that mean for us? More nutrients that our bodies need. These are a bit pricey but they last a long time. I also like Nuts dot com
- You can use any seed or any nut you want
