Health Talk: Nutrient Absorption

Absorption or the ability to absorb nutrients is when your stomach and gut is healed or healing on a greater level.  That's when your healthy diet will kick in.  But when your gut is compromised and more than half of our immune system lives in our gut, that healthy diet you're telling everyone about will do you either nothing or not much.  Here's why...

It all starts with your gut.  And if your gut isn't happy, your body will not be either.

Have you ever wondered why your hair falls out?

Have you ever wondered why you always get yeast infections or Candida or yeast overgrowth in your intestines or SIBO?

Have you ever wondered why your acne is the way it is or why you are even getting adult acne?

Have you ever wondered why you have chronic acid reflux?

One of my favorite products ever that I love and thank the world it was introduced to me for healing is called Glutagenics and it's by Metagenics.  I take it twice daily.  It's a powder you put in water twice a day and let me tell you how much healing my gut has done just because of this product alone.

I've been taking Glutagenics since January 2014.  There was a time here and there where I stopped, but Glutagenics has basically been my gut healing life buddy, and I am grateful.  It was the best start of my gut healing journey.

What it does is it begins to repair your gut lining with its powerful ingredients like L Glutamine for gut support, dried aloe, and licorice.  It's not the ONLY product that makes all of this work and makes your gut heal but it's definitely a huge start and should be your drinking buddy throughout your healing journey/process!

TYPES OF RELIEF FROM GLUTAGENICS AFTER A FEW MONTHS:

  • Less acid reflux or no acid reflux
  • Less indigestion or no indigestion
  • Healing the gut helps heal your food sensitivities
  • Less farting to no farting and discomfort
  • Less bloating to no bloating
  • Ability to eat foods that would usually bother your reflux
  • Ability to reintroduce coffee and chocolate after longterm use

The instructions on the container advise 1 scoop twice a day.  I was advised by my Integrative Functional Doctor to bump that up to 2 scoops twice per day.  Once in the morning ½ hour before breakfast and in the evening.  And for me, that is the golden amount and the golden method.
