Review: Spirit Junkie Masterclass Level 2

My thoughts on Spirit Junkie Masterclass level 2 are that this training is a one of a kind training that inspires you, boosts your confidence and helps you level up wherever you desire to level up and serve your purpose.  A big dose of spiritual love, business training, and confidence.

Gabrielle Bernstein has been my spiritual mentor since 2014 and I feel blessed and so grateful to be able to have experienced her presence, energy and teachings live and first hand in a small intimate group also known as Spirit Junkie Masterclass Level 2 week long training.

If it weren't for Gabby Bernstein's teachings I don't believe I would have been so captivated by spiritual healing.

And if I wasn't so captivated by it I wouldn't have been able to heal and manage the chronic health conditions and autoimmune diseases I have now, or even then.  I wouldn't have been able to see things differently or even perceive them differently.  Gabby teaches us how to use our healing as a power in business and in life.  And what I learned to which I value at most important is I gained a spiritual practice that changed my life and how I manage my own HEALING.

She teaches us how to use our story and heal from it by going through it, accepting it, and owning it.  And she uses all the spiritual tools you'd die to learn!

Long post alert because this is a review of the masterclass experience!! 

So If you don't know much about me, I'm all about that gluten-free and free-from world as well as the chronic illness wellness world.  I interweave spiritual and self-care practices into everything I do for myself, for my career and towards the way I live, while living gluten-free and beyond.  But it wasn't until I became familiar with Gabby's work did I even consider adding in mindset and spiritual work into gluten-free living.  So from a girl that knew nothing really about spirituality and solely nutrition went to Spirit Junkie Masterclass and here's what happened:

I'm a Spirit Junkie Masterclass Alum Level 2 - 2017

Amazing once.  Amazing twice.  Amazing thrice.

I did level 1 with the intention to be open and experience something different.  I didn't do it to level up in my career, but Gabby's spiritual teachings have weaved into everything I do and therefore everything I teach and preach when it comes to NUTRITION and HEALING.

I did level 2 to level up.  And it was priceless.

I'm going to assume if you've stumbled onto this post it's probably likely that you've been thinking about this training for a while now, and it's calling to you much louder.  That "what's next" feeling.  That thirst for more.  The wonder if there is something better for yourself out there...

For me, level 2 felt like a transformative intimate experience, and I didn't even stand up and speak my story to the entire room as some did.  I think that's one of the best parts actually.

You're in a room with about 70 complete strangers who literally become your spiritual soul family.

The best part?  You'll get up and close time with Gabby and everyone in the room both mentors and new friends.

And you'll learn new tools, take a deeper look at old ones and find new spiritual toys that you will forever bond with.

I bought a singing bowl!!  I didn't even know what one was before I got there!  Out of all the things at the gift shop that really spoke to me, it was the singing bowl.  I use it for mindfulness techniques.  I definitely recommend buying something meaningful to you from Kripalu that you can head back with to remember that energy, and to remind yourself how far you have come.

You go deeper with these people than you did during Level 1.  You get REAL.  You share EVERYTHING.  You walk THROUGH it together.  It's unlike any other training and you form bonds that are everlasting and like no other.

You'll say goodbye to limiting beliefs.  Here this beautiful ceremony we all took rocks and threw them into the ocean.  The rocks symbolized limiting beliefs that no longer served us.  I threw a red carnelian stone that I brought from home.  I felt it was even more symbolic.  The experience was magical and lifting.

You're planted in the beautiful and serene Kripalu Center in Massachusettes with the best crystal shop so you can use crystal healing while you are there, and even bring some back home.

At some point, we all went to visit the well of good wishes and random things.  It's so quaint and simple to find joy in the smallest of things but that is another amazing part of Gabby's training; finding joy in the littleness.

It's a huge game changer and mind shifter.

You cry in front of these people.  You break down in front of these people.  They are your spiritual family.  And that is the second best part of this training besides being in the teaching energy of Gabby Bernstein.  The community is priceless.

LENGTH & TEACHERS

It's not like level 1.  It's a full week long.  You won't take as many notes at all.  I barely did.  I just wanted to soak it in and feel it all.  This training is filled with massive amounts of meditation, basic kundalini meditations, and lectures from some of the best!!!  Gabby does most of the speaking and teaching but then you'll get guest teachers from the wellness industry like Rha Goddess, Jaime Graber, and health coach and blogger Jenny Sansouci.

GETTING BEHIND THE COST

There was a time I couldn't even fathom paying for level 1.  I waited until the last day to sign up.  My second level 1 was an easy breezy purchase because if you're an alum you get the best discounts on all events and programs that Gabby hosts!  I remember walking on the streets of Manhattan looking at my emails and seeing they had one spot left and knew it had to be mine, so I bought the ticket right then and there through my iPhone.  I never do that!  I felt so CALLED.  And then by the time I made the decision for level 2 I was more than happy to hand my money over for this transformative experience.  I was READY.  I felt CALLED.  This NEEDED to happen.

TRAINING INTENSITY + INTIMACY

It's definitely more intimate then level 1, but it's also a longer training.  A lot more intimate!!  You're up in the woods of Kripalu Massachusetts in a room with about 70 individuals that are going to reveal their deepest traumas.  You're going to support them as they to you.  You are going to hold space for them as they to you.  You are going to coach, lead and help them as they to you.  You're going to shed beyond layers you didn't even realize you had to shed and these people are going to become your soul siblings you were destined to meet in this lifetime.  Bonding is an understatement.  And it's a safe space.  As a disclaimer, no one is forced to participate or disclose anything they are uncomfortable disclosing.

CAMPUS & ROOM SITUATION

You're planted in the beautiful and serene Kripalu Center in Massachusettes with the best crystal shop!

The entire campus felt like a sleepaway camp meets friendly sorority meets yoga retreat center.  It truly felt like a spiritual sleepaway camp which works really well for this training.  The center itself had meditation chairs placed throughout the whole center, including in front of windows.

As long as you have a private room with a private bathroom you will be happy.

GLUTEN-FREE FOOD SITUATION

Guess what?!  This trip is SUPER Gluten-Free friendly!!!  I was SO happy, and I was worried because you never know when you travel what you are going to find.  Heck, half my suitcase was gluten-free food that I could travel with, and another guess what?  I would have been fine bringing no food.

Kripalu itself is super serious about allergies and illness so they take extra care of you if you have a specific issue.  They will cater gluten-free meals to you so you avoid cross-contamination and the same with other allergens.  You can even call ahead and create a menu with the head chef!  They really take it seriously and they cook on safe surfaces too.

They also have a little treats store in Kripalu itself that is filled with tons of healthy and yummy gluten-free and dairy-free treats.  I cannot tell you how happy I was to have this amazing store!  This store alone made me barely need any of the stuff I brought and that is an amazing thing!

GETTING THERE from MANHATTAN

Greyhound bus baby.  You can drive and fly as well, but the easiest route is the Greyhound bus.

So here's the deal - If you're wondering what course is right for you or what training is best for you to go with, go with the one that tugs at your soul.  Take the training that feels good when you read the description, hear the training, get the free videos, and research the person.  If you get a good vibe, go with that.  Take the training with a guru that teaches practices you can get behind.  Take the training when the teacher has an energy you recognize and resonate with.

Any spiritual teacher you have YOU must somehow connect with otherwise it will NOT feel ALIGNED.

Someone recently asked me to describe SJMC2 in three words and I said

"Magical, Transformative.  Healing".

WHAT TO DO DURING YOUR FREE TIME

You have access to the entire center

• Get a massage
• Relax in a relaxation chair placed around the center facing all the beautiful views I've posted so far
• Get a tarot card reading
• Buy some crystals
• Wander the grounds outside, mediate outside, do yoga outside.  Get curious.
• Soak it in
• Be friendly
• Don't judge
• Make friends
• Stay open
• Connect after you leave
• Stay connected

Ready for Level 2?  So awesome!!!  It's usually held in November once a year, but you can get on the waitlist for two and in the meantime start watching Gabby on Youtube, and gear up for next year when enrollment starts again.

I'll never tell you exactly step by step how the training went because it was a very intimate healing container experience that I felt was very personal.

That's what I can tell you for sure.  It's magic.  It's healing.  It's mindblowing.  It's breakthrough moments.  It's hardcore and heavy.  And only you will know what it feels like to be here once you are here.  We all experience this training differently.

Attending SJMC Level 2 was the first time I really accepted my gray/silver hair.  For a long time, it made me really uncomfortable.  And then after my experience, I realized it was an asset, not a flaw.  And that it is beautiful.  This shot is like my lion shot.  I felt like myself again!
