Best Gluten-Free CBD Edibles are finally here! Now you too can enjoy the effects and benefits of CBD as a gluten-free soul. CBD does not get you high, instead, it provides anti-inflammatory effects as well as promotes relaxation and anxiety-free living. Are you ready to try this wonderful natural product?
I first heard about CBD from my mom. Crazy, right?
Kinda like that time, my Step-Mom introduced me to the book series Fifty Shades of Grey.
CBD is wonderfully healing and can be used in a variety of ways for autoimmune disease, anxiety, chronic illness, Cancer, Celiac, chronic pain, and other conditions on a bio-individualistic basis. CBD also serves our muscle spasms, back pain, rib pain, headaches (with Tylenol), PMS cramps (alongside a Tylenol), curing hangovers, and regulating sleep rhythms. Who knew right?!
And yes, for those of you who are wondering, it's totally and completely legal in the U.S. The best types are the ones that are organic and natural, with very few if any flavors or additives. You also want to choose one that has gone through third-party testing and a company that discloses their testing. You are looking at a 2-3 ingredient list for a tincture and that's it. As for the gummy, you'll see sugar as an added ingredient and that's okay, it's a gummy bear.
Gluten-Free CBD edibles and oils do exist!
WHAT IS CBD AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
- CBD is the second most-produced Cannabinoid in the plant besides THC.
- For sleep issues, it works the way natural melatonin works, but BETTER. CBD is a natural swap that fares well on the body.
- In fact, we have receptors for CBD in our body, so that means when we take it into our body, our body recognizes it and can absorb it.
- Important for our overall wellbeing.
- Used for anxiety alongside a regimen for anxiety. Meaning in addition to, and not in replace of.
- Also used for pain: back pain, muscle pain, hip pain, sleep, relaxation. streamlining your day, at the office, at home, for nervousness, cancer pain, chronic illness, autoimmune disease, stress, and more!
WHY MIGHT CBD WORK FOR YOU AND NOT OTHERS?
- CBD will feel different for everyone because it is based on a host of factors such as absorption, dosage, quality, and if the product is full-spectrum hemp or a CBD isolate.
- The feelings you get from CBD depend on the amounts and ratios of cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, and terpenes that are present in the plant and in the oil.
- In addition, if you have accidentally tried non gluten-free CBD edibles it may not work on you as well as others who don't have a compromised immune system. If you have Celiac Disease or an intestinal condition absorption may be your culprit. This doesn't mean it won't ever work on you, it just means you need a higher dosage and a different brand.
**Bullet point 1 and 2 are WeedMaps
Unlike its counterpart THC, CBD is legal in all 50 states and is THC FREE. That means you can't get stoned or high, and it won't show up in a drug test, because this is the non-drug part of the plant.
You can buy CBD at your local bodega BUT you want quality. And you want to make sure it's gluten-free. So don't buy it at your local bodega. Grab your new favs from my list or do the research. I say this with love, I don't want you to get sick!
The following list is a list comprised of the best gluten-free CBD edibles and drops, where I buy them, and which brands I like the most.
DOSAGES:
Like anything, the dosage is important. You are not meant to get "high" from these products. At most, the more you take the more tired, less anxious, pain-free, and relaxed you'll feel. I know when I've taken too much because I start to tear profusely and I get exhausted! Experiment.
My perfect oil tincture dose varies according to the brand. I mostly take 2 full droppers of the tincture or 2-3 gummies.
My perfect gummy bear dosage is 20 mg. You will not feel anything from one drop or one gummy, so don't even bother going down that low. Newbies start at 20mg and go from there.
Every BODY is different.
With CBD growing as a healing supplement it's more wide range than ever! You want to make sure your source is pure, gluten-free, and effective.
**I have either called every single company on this list to personally speak to them about their products and if their products are Celiac safe and what their manufacturing process was, or I have scoured their websites, tested these products with Celiac Disease and had zero reaction. There were quite a few bloopers I'll say with brands not knowing what gluten was, or making jokes about sandwich bread crumbs. I left those off this list entirely and didn't even bat an eyelash.
Then there were some brands I tried that have made it to my caution list. I'll explain those in more detail below. But for now, here is the best of the best!
GLUTEN-FREE CBD EDIBLES, OINTMENTS, TINCTURES:
WILD FLOWER CBD - Adding this new one to my favorites list because this CBD brand is perfect for everyday use, during the day, at work, at home, at an event, and even for sleep. You're not altered, you're just relaxed. And when you are relaxed is when you can get a lot accomplished in a stress-free way or have the best nights sleep. I enjoy 2 full droppers. But I at first started with 1. They also have a cbd pain stick that my wellness center sells for body pain.
CBD CLINIC - Pro-Sport Series: Level 5 - STICK - You'll want level 5, which is the highest level hemp ointment for topical use. I've had clients use lower levels and it just doesn't cut it. Any level other than level 5 does not do the trick for chronic pain, or chronic injury pain or just back pain. The CBD used inside this product also happens to be Charlottes Web CBD, which is listed below, well-sourced and most practitioners use this brand with patients. This hemp ointment is epic for major deep muscle and joint pain relief! I cannot express this enough! It works on knees, hips, ankles, lower back, upper back...It will make your body feel like it can move with more ease. If your pain is above a 5 from 1-10, you'll like this a lot. You only need to use a small amount, trust me it goes a long way. The only thing that is a bummer is that it is hard to get because you can only it from a doctor or a physical therapy practice. This Wellness Center in California sells it and this is where I get it. It's expensive, but worth it and a little goes a very long way.
The Level 5 Pro Sports does not use any essential oils or allergy-prone ingredients.
Sunday Scaries Gummy Bears and Tinctures - A deliciously yummy sweet in gummy form or tincture oil form. The tincture tastes like candy and sweetened with stevia. Also all organic and uses coconut oil. Their gummy ingredients HAVE CHANGED. They used to contain mimimal beautiful ingredients and now contain corn syrup. So for this brand I personally advocate for the tincture, and eat those edibles at your own risk. They are still incredibly potent so you'll have fun. But the tincture is the gold star with this brand. Make sure you buy the original formula. Other products in this brand use wheat. Make sure you read your labels.
- Gummies dosage: 2-3
- Tincture dosage: 2 full droppers

Luce Farm in Vermont was another stellar find when it comes to CBD edibles. I loved this one for just using their oil as a spread on food because it tastes so good! While I didn't at all react to this one, my friends did. They felt wildly euphoric while I felt nothing. Yet my friends raved so it made the list. Try the coconut oil infused with CBD! Or the Honey infused with CBD! Deliciously yummy and clean products. Both Mind, Body Green, and Goop featured this brand too!
Charlottes Web - While some people don't feel the effects of Charlottes Web, MANY others do. So again this will be a dosage based on your body, and you'll have to gauge what works for you. This brand doesn't work on me at all. But my sister is a huge fan. This is the brand that all functional doctors from NYC recommend. Fan favs are the chocolate mint and olive oil. I always go as plain as possible so my reco would be the olive oil or the coconut oil plain. Flavored products make me nervous when it comes to being truly gluten-free.
Mindys CBD/THC Gummies - James Beard Award Winning Artisinal Chef Mindy Segal created this brand of Honeydew CBD & THC infused gummies. Each gummy contains 5mg CBD & 5mg THC. Dispensery says customers with chronic pain, and anxiety use this gummy. It's not a eurphoric feel, it's more of a very light edge taken off your shoulders, and defintely helps with Arthritis, and back pain. This one does contain THC. Remember these are not gluten-free facilities, but gluten-free ingredients. However, it is tagged as gluten-free. Great for newbies as well.
Caution List:
Thera Treats Chocolate - White this brand will tell you there is no gluten in the manufacturing facility, it's made off-site. And because of that, I'm not sure. I'm also not sure because I reacted each time I ate it. So to make sure it wasn't just me, I had my mom and sister who are both gluten-free test it out as well and had the same issues. In fact, my sister had more symptoms then I did. So, while I hear what they told me, I cannot discount the 3 reactions we all had especially since we are dealing with Celiac Disease and a gluten-intolerance. Celiac and gluten-intolerance run in our family. Our similar symptoms were:
- bad acid reflux
- headaches
- stomach issues
My sister and mom were instantly nauseous.
The so so so SO sad side is that this chocolate is amazing for pain. Do I have to say out of all of the ones I've had so far? Best one for major chronic pain and muscle. So if you don't have an issue with gluten enjoy this one!
The same goes for Biovelle CBD infused coconut oil I cannot promote a product that says they are gluten-free, yet my skin reacts horribly. I have to trust my reactions. So this is another brand that says there is no gluten in the manufacturing facility, yet trying this one twice left major skin reaction on my face, and I didn't originally put it there. I ate it. So use with caution.
Okay, guys, I hope you enjoyed this updated list! Are you a gluten-free CBD lover?
Cassie Tran
Yes, CBD! I really want to look more into CBD oil and how to integrate it into baking and into my personal health routine. There still is more research that I think needs to be conducted given that CBD is such a hotly new item. Personally, I am not gluten free, so I believe I can try those chocolates!
Julie
Hi Cassie! YASSSS - do what you have to do to find out more, and experiment. You'll love the chocolates for relief in pain and anxiety! So enjoy!!
